Ermita la Victoria in Mallorca

Ermita la Victoria in Mallorca is the oratory of Our Lady of Victory and as the name suggests, the building served as a defensive site among other things. The Ermita la Victoria hermitage is located near the popular Polish town of Alcudia. Inside the building there is a chapel and the building itself is currently used as a hostel. There is also a restaurant where you can eat typical Majorcan dishes. The hermitage dates back to the 13th century and is really well preserved. There is a large parking lot right in front of the hermitage and the road to get here is a bit winding but surrounded by beautiful views and nature.

I am very drawn to this place by the views. The Ermita la Victoria hermitage is located on a mountain, so we can enjoy the scenery that the northern part of the island offers us. If you decide to visit the hermitage, you should know that the architecture is very local, as well as the interior design. If you are curious about the typical furnishings of a traditional house in Mallorca, Ermita la Victoria will give you a good idea.

In this place you will find peace and quiet and you will surely relax. Not far from Ermita la Victoria is the famous bay of Cala Victoria, or Playa de s’Illot. It is a sandy beach with beautiful views and crystal clear waters. It is also an ideal place for cyclists and mountain hikers. There are quite a few trails in the area, as the hermitages are surrounded by the Serra de Tramuntana mountains.

What to do near Ermita la Victoria in Mallorca?

You should definitely visit Mirador la Victoria and nearby towns such as Alcudia, Pollensa, as well as the longest beach on Mallorca, which is Playa de Muro or the top attraction on the island, the famous Formentor and Sa Calobra. The whole area is extremely picturesque and scenic, and all this is due precisely to the mountains, whose landscape is inscribed on the UNESCO world list.
