How to get to the Castillo de sa Punta de N’amer?
Castillo de Sa Punta de N’amer is located between Cala Millor and Sa Coma and can be reached from both places.
- From Sa Coma: The entrance is at the end of the beach.
- From Cala Millor: There are two routes to choose from:
1. Directly from the beach.
2. Through the park – the entrance is on Carrer Castell (Castell Street).
Which route to choose?
I highly recommend entering from the Sa Coma side. The trail leads through forest, fields and offers beautiful views of the sea and cliffs. If you are looking for an extra attraction, consider horseback riding! Rancho Bonanza in Cala Millor offers this option – you can go for a two-hour off-road ride.

Castle or watchtower?
Castillo de Sa Punta de n’Amer is actually a fortified watchtower. Built in the late 17th century, it is a cubic structure made of sandstone and surrounded by a moat. A stone spiral staircase leads up to the top, which is a small attraction in itself.
Although the castle is not impressive in size, it is an ideal place for a quiet walk with the family. There is also a restaurant on the premises with a terrace, from which there are beautiful views.

- Castle and restaurant opening hours:
- July – August: 10:00 – 00:00
- September – June: 10:00 – 18:00
- Restaurant: also accepts card payments, but I warn you – it’s expensive!
- For kids: No playground – the attractions are the castle itself and animals such as ponies and parrots.
Recommended trails
- Coast: A walk along the coastal trail is a great way to admire spectacular views. Along the way, you can discover interesting features such as sand caves and natural rock formations.
- Return: The second route, leading through the forest and fields, allows you to return calmly, passing horses, runners and cyclists.

Cuevas del Drach are one of the most famous caves in Mallorca, with the underground lake Martel, where classical music concerts are held. It is an unforgettable attraction that combines the beauty of nature with a unique artistic experience.
Cala Millor is one of the largest resorts on the east coast of Majorca, known for its beautiful sandy beach and wide range of entertainment. An ideal place for an active holiday, with numerous bars, restaurants and water sports.
