Port de Andratx in Mallorca

Port de Andratx in Mallorca is a port town that I think is one of the most picturesque. If I were to rank Mallorca’s port towns in order from prettiest to ugliest, Port de Andratx would definitely be in second place. What enchants me is definitely the huge cliffs and views of the pine covered mountains. Sunsets in Port de Andratx are considered one of the nicest on the island. If you are looking for atmospheric pubs, beautiful views and a lively nightlife, you should consider visiting this place (here is the location of the parking lot: 39.54624887728459, 2.3918389013132515).

A lot of high-profile personalities buy real estate here, and you may run into some celebrities in the harbor restaurants. It’s not a very touristy place, and you certainly won’t see crowds on the beaches here, but there are a lot of people looking for an interesting experience. I highly recommend taking a ride to the cliffs to see the original villas and view the harbor from above. If you are looking for a beach to swim in the sea, I recommend a few options.

The first one is definitely Cala Fonoll – a bit hidden, pebble beach. The second one will be Cala Marmassen located a little bit behind Port de Andratx. Beaches in the port are very small and locating them on the map borders on miracle, so I will recommend you only one, a small port cove, Cala Delta (39.54188457349961, 2.384551564632925).

What to do around Port de Andratx in Mallorca?

The surroundings of Port de Andratx are equally picturesque, and I strongly recommend you visit places such as the beautiful town of Sant Elm, Camp de Mar and the local restaurant Restaurante Illeta, the picturesque Cala Fornells and the wide beaches of Paguera, and for sunset you must visit the beautiful viewpoint Mirador Malgrats.
