Cala Llombards in Mallorca is one of the most desirable bays in Majorca, a real gem on the southern coast of the island, in the charming municipality of Santanyi. Like many other bays in this part of Majorca, Cala Llombards is narrow and surrounded by picturesque cliffs covered with tall pine trees.
Another great asset of Cala Llombards in Mallorca are the charming fishing houses, which are located on the left side of the beach. They create a unique atmosphere and are a great subject for photographs. On the right side of the bay there are rocks that tempt you to jump into the crystal clear water. Additionally, ladders are installed to facilitate access to the wonderful sea pool. From these rocks you can admire beautiful views, including the characteristic natural bridge – the Es Pontas viewpoint. Another photographic corner of Cala Llombards are the famous stairs overlooking the crystal clear water. The stairs are located on the left side of the beach. Walk along the promenade towards the fishermen’s houses until you find narrow steps on the left – that’s exactly the place!

The bay offers good conditions for relaxation and fun on the beach, while providing a beautiful environment that is a real paradise for the eyes. What does the beach look like?

On the beach there are facilities such as a bar, a lifeguard station, toilets, showers and a spacious car park. It is a paradise for lovers of water sports and diving. Thanks to the rocky formations around the beach, you can see many picturesque fish swimming in the crystal clear waters. In summer, the beach is full of life, attracting many visitors, but still retains its charming beauty.
Getting to Cala Llombards can be a bit of a challenge. It is worth using the Google Maps application, but be careful because the names of towns and bays can be misleading. Once you reach the town, it is worth following the signs “playa” or “platja”, which indicate the way to the beach. The picturesque route leads down, along winding roads, surrounding travelers with amazing views.
Municipality of Santanyi is known for its charming beaches hidden among sharp cliffs, which makes it extremely attractive. The landscapes are breathtaking, the water has a unique color and the atmosphere is safe and romantic.

Cala Santanyi

In the summer season, it is a bit more crowded, but its beauty and easy access make it worth a visit.
Mirador Es Pontas
Mirador Es Pontas is a unique viewpoint in the area of Santanyí, offering a breathtaking view of the natural rock formation – Es Pontas. It is a huge rock in the shape of a bridge, rising above the waters of the sea. The viewpoint is located on cliffs, which makes the view of the surrounding landscape spectacular, especially at sunset. There is a hiking trail leading to Mirador Es Pontas, but be aware that some sections are quite steep and dangerous, so in this case it is worth being careful.
Caló des Moro i Cala s’Almunia
Caló des Moro and Cala s’Almunia are two small, wild beaches located in the Santanyí area. Both offer extraordinary beauty, with turquoise waters surrounded by high cliffs and lush vegetation. Cala s’Almunia is particularly charming, with picturesque fishermen’s houses that add character to it. Caló des Moro is the better known beach, famous for its beautiful views, although access to it can be difficult, requiring a descent down narrow steps. Both beaches are excellent for swimming, sunbathing and spending time in the peace of nature.
Parc Natural de Mondragó
The Parc Natural de Mondragó is one of the most beautiful natural areas in Mallorca, located near Santanyí. It is a protected area that includes both picturesque beaches and unique forest areas that are home to various species of plants and animals. Mondragó is an ideal place for hiking, as well as bird watching, as the park is a nature reserve. Visitors can enjoy the peace and quiet, walking on the numerous paths that lead through the forests and along the coast, reaching charming beaches such as Cala Mondragó and Cala des Borgit.
Cala Figuera
Cala Figuera is a small fishing village that has maintained its traditional character despite the increasing number of tourists. With a picturesque port and white houses, Cala Figuera is one of the most charming places in Mallorca. Around the port rise the rocks and the water is crystal clear. It is a great place to walk, admire the sunsets and spend time in a peaceful atmosphere. Cala Figuera is not your typical beach, but rather a place to admire the natural landscapes and relax among the fishing boats.
Santanyi
Santanyi is a picturesque village in the south of Mallorca that combines traditional character with a modern lifestyle.
