Gardens
The category ‘gardens in Mallorca’ showcases the island’s most beautiful and landscaped gardens. Many public villas on Mallorca have been converted into museums, but there’s more to explore. We also highlight the royal gardens at Cala Major and the Jardines de Alfabia. These are, in my opinion, among the most scenic spots on the island. They also offer great photo opportunities.
Mallorca’s gardens are steeped in history. They are located on the grounds of villas once owned by the wealthiest citizens. Many notable figures, from local rulers to those from neighboring countries, have visited these sites. The architecture and furnishings give a glimpse into the island’s past. Interestingly, many Mallorcans still live in a similar style today. This offers a look at what traditional local interiors look like.
