Cala Egos in Mallorca is a hidden gem, located near the popular resort of Cala d’Or. Although it is located a short distance from the tourist center, it retains its intimate and peaceful character. This medium-sized bay attracts with turquoise waters, picturesque cliffs and a unique charm.

Where is Cala Egos located?

Cala Egos is part of the picturesque region of Santanyi, known for its fabulous bays and cliffs. It is located about two kilometers from the center of Cala d’Or, making it easy to reach both on foot and by car. Despite its proximity to the tourist bustle, the bay offers a peaceful atmosphere and is an excellent option for those looking for a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

What does the bay look like?

Cala Egos beach is a small sandy spot surrounded by low cliffs that give it an intimate feel. The color of the water, typical of Mallorca, delights with shades of blue and turquoise, and the cliffs provide beautiful views of the bay. Unfortunately, there are two large hotels near the beach that can slightly disturb the natural landscape. However, walking along the cliffs and admiring the bay from different perspectives allows you to fully appreciate its beauty.

In Cala Egos you can relax on the beach, swim in the crystal clear waters or walk along the surrounding cliffs, admiring the panorama of the bay. You can also take trips to nearby coves such as Cala Petita, Cala Gran or Cala Esmeralda. The port of Cala d’Or is also nearby, where you can try local specialities in one of the restaurants.
