Cuevas de Arta in Mallorca – basic information

If you are planning to visit these fascinating caves, it is worth taking into account a few practical tips. First, it is important to remember that the cave tours vary depending on the season. In the summer, due to the higher number of tourists, it can be crowded, which can affect the flow of the tour. The guides have a limited time to lead the group, which means there is limited time to answer questions or not be able to show all the beautiful corners of the caves. Therefore, it is worth considering visiting Cuevas de Arta in winter, when there are fewer tourists. Then you will be able to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the caves and admire their extraordinary formations.

It is worth noting that the temperature in the caves remains constant throughout the year. In Cuevas de Arta it is around 18 degrees Celsius, and in Cuevas del Drach it is around 20 degrees Celsius. Therefore, I recommend dressing appropriately for the prevailing conditions. While it may be warm outside, the temperature inside the caves can be cooler, so it’s a good idea to bring a light sweatshirt or sweater and long pants to feel comfortable while exploring.

Visiting the Cuevas de Arta is an unforgettable experience that will allow you to discover the beauty of nature and the secrets of the underground world. With this basic information in mind, you’ll be better prepared for this unique experience.
