Cala na Clara in Mallorca – the most beautiful virgin bay in Mallorca

Cala na Clara in Mallorca

Cala na Clara in Mallorca is a real gem on the island that will surely delight lovers of beautiful, wild beaches. Although it is not often mentioned in guidebooks, for me it is one of those places that you can only discover on your own. Although it is difficult to find completely deserted beaches on this island, Cala na Clara has that unique charm of lesser-known places.

To reach the bay, you will need to take a car or walk from the town of Betlem. However, do not expect bus access or a large parking lot. Cars are left on the side of the road and then you have to walk through the charming area for about 10-15 minutes. When you reach the fork in the road, it is worth turning left to start exploring this hidden beach.

How to get to Cala na Clara in Mallorca

The route to Cala na Clara beach takes you through picturesque countryside, surrounded by forest and mountains. The descent to the beach is a bit steep, so it may be a bit more difficult for those with limited mobility. However, after the hardships of getting there, you will be rewarded with unforgettable views and natural peace. Cala na Clara is not guarded, so there is no tourist infrastructure here. There is one restaurant nearby, Casablanca, but you need to book in advance and wear appropriate clothing (no bikinis allowed). So stock up on snacks and drinks well in advance, at a nearby shop.

Cala na Clara Beach

Cala na Clara in Mallorca is one of the most beautiful bays I’ve ever visited. Although the beach is rocky and you won’t be able to stretch out on the soft sand with your towel, once you get into the water you’ll discover a nice, sandy bottom. It’s worth bringing your swimming shoes for extra comfort. Don’t forget to bring food and plenty of drinks – it’s worth being well-prepared for this hike. You won’t encounter crowds of tourists on the beach and the water is crystal clear.

You can also often see various boats, yachts and private catamarans coming into the bay. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with picturesque rocks, cliffs, pine trees and majestic mountains in the background. If you want to add to your adventure, be sure to visit the nearby Es Calo bay.
