Cala Morlanda in Mallorca – The Hidden Treasure of the East Coast

Cala Morlanda in Mallorca is one of those bays that really stick in your mind. Surrounded by majestic, rugged rocks, it feels intimate, almost undiscovered – ideal for those looking for quiet places where you can combine relaxation with a bit of adventure. This place is particularly impressive with its crystal clear water – so clear that even at greater depths you can see the bottom, which is rare! For people who, like me, approach the water with a little distance, Cala Morlanda is like an invitation to break this barrier.

Cala Morlanda is the perfect place for snorkeling or diving!

For diving enthusiasts, it is a paradise – although there is no abundance of fish here like in the Egyptian coral reefs, watching the underwater life here is really addictive! You can spend hours drifting and admiring the local rock formations and the tiny fish that appear every now and then. Cala Morlanda has something that makes you want to stay here longer – it is a combination of nature, peace and beauty that stays with you long after you leave this place.

Cala Morlanda in Mallorca is a unique place that is really worth visiting! The bay surrounded by rugged cliffs, a rocky coastline and crystal clear waters creates an amazing scenery, perfect for peaceful relaxation in nature. Piotrek recommended it to us, and it was a bullseye!

If you’re staying in nearby towns like s’Illot or Sa Coma, walking to Cala Morlanda is a pleasant, scenic trip. From Sa Coma, the walk will take about 20-30 minutes – just follow the promenade along the coast, and along the way you can admire the sea and the surrounding yachts drifting on the horizon. As you approach the bay, steps carved into the rocks will appear, leading directly into the water.

Cala Morlanda in Mallorca – all you need to know!

Cala Morlanda is a place for nature and adventure lovers – the beach is pebbly and the stones are quite large, which can be difficult for families with small children. In the water, however, the bottom becomes sandy and between the stones you can spot interesting sea creatures, such as crabs.

An additional plus? The lack of crowds and tourist facilities, such as shops or toilets, means that this place retains its natural, wild charm. Prepare for a picnic in nature and bring everything you need for the beach, because the nearest shops are located in the towns.

For thrill seekers, the cliffs around the bay offer popular diving spots – a local hit with young people. This place has a truly unique atmosphere and leaves an unforgettable experience!

Is Cala Morlanda in Mallorca worth visitng?

On the right side of the Cala Morlanda bay, there is an inconspicuous, picturesque garden that hides a little surprise – a place full of magic! It is the perfect place for a family walk. In the middle of the garden, there is a small square, and on it a special place. All you have to do is stand exactly at the designated point and say any word… only you will find out what will happen! It is a small, hidden secret that not everyone knows about – I found out about it thanks to my boyfriend, who has lived in this area for years. It is a fantastic attraction for children and great fun for anyone who likes small riddles.

Choosing Cala Morlanda for a holiday, you will not be disappointed – everything is at your fingertips. Nearby there is a well-stocked LIDL, Carrefour, or Eroski, ideal if you want to stock up on ingredients for a picnic or dinner. This part of Mallorca is well-maintained, full of picturesque views and offers many attractions. Thanks to well-organized public transport and tourist information points, getting around the area is really easy.

Cala Morlanda is a holiday destination for everyone, from families to couples to adventure seekers.
