Des Dolc beach – platja des Dolc – south coast of Majorca.

Des Dolc beach – platja des Dolc, Majorca.

Des Dolc beach is Majorca’s sweetest beach. It is not about the salinity of the water, but its name. Dulce means cute. I suspect that the name comes from the sweet views that consume you. Many people love Es Trenc beach. It is declared one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca. What distinguishes the local area are definitely natural, heavily protected zones. Platja des Dolc is a beach not far from Es Trenc! In the south of Majorca.

Des Dolc beach is a beautiful beach in the south of Majorca.

Long sandy beach. To get there, unfortunately, you have to walk about 10 minutes from Playa de Es Port, where you can park your car. The only alternative is to be a resident of nearby towns. Thanks to the check-in, the owner of one of the villas allows people to enter his private area, where there is a very simple road to this beach and the others nearby. The remaining ones normally take about an hour on foot. The condition is, however, to be a resident of the area, not Majorca itself.

There is a lot of algae on the beach, which unfortunately deters many people.

Algae, however, are an indispensable part of the local beaches. It is thanks to them that the water retains its beautiful color. It is the algae that cleanse it. If there is a lot of algae, it only means that the sea must have worked hard to clean the waters. There are also natural zones behind the beach that cannot be entered. You will not see hotels, buildings, flats or blocks of flats here. Nature itself.

On Platja des Dolc, you can get to Platja de Can Curt, Playa Es Dofi, Platja des Carbo, Platja de Ses Roquetes. All beaches are very similar to each other. There are many yachts, boats and catamarans in the water, which gives a beautiful view. Platja des Dolc is also a beach where you can meet nudists. There are lifeguards here, the beach is guarded and there is a small bar and sun loungers.
