The beach in El Arenal, Majorca.
The beach in El Arenal is one of the most crowded beaches on Mallorca. It is not one of the largest on the island, but what attracts attention is definitely the palm trees growing on the beach and the shallowness of the water. Not only is the water shallow for a very long time, it is also crystal clear and perfect for swimming. On the left side of the beach there is a medium-sized harbour where you can take a cruise. On the right side of the beach you can enjoy views of the town and the mountains.
The town of El Arenal itself is famous for its parties. Next to Magaluf, it is the second most party town on Majorca. A lot of Germans and English people come here, but also Poles. The big advantage of this place is its proximity to the airport, which is less than 10km away from the town. There is also very well organised public transport. So you can get to many places by bus. For example to the capital of the island – Palma, or such places as Cala Major, Cala Comtesa and many others (with changes).
What does El Arenal offer?
Apart from a really great beach and a great location for sightseeing, El Arenal is also a great place to eat and party. There are lots of clubs, tattoo parlours, bars and restaurants, and the coolest thing in my opinion (thanks to the shallow water), you can indulge in many water sports such as paddle boarding, kayaking or for the lazy ones, pedal boats! If you choose El Arenal as your destination, you will definitely not be bored.
