Why choose Cuevas del Drach?

Probably many of you once visited the underground caves. We have a little in Poland. I myself remember school trips to the caves. Stalagmites and Stalactites are nothing new for us. However, I do not remember in the caves in which I was a former underground lake or a concert of classical music. And that’s what Cuevas del Drach – Dragon Caves offers. The underground lake, which is called Martel is 25 meters deep, is considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world.

How long does it take to visit the caves?

The caves will visit on average 30/40 minutes. After taking pictures and viewing the most beautiful corners, we take places on benches. The light is completely extinguished. There is a penetrating silence. And then the concert begins. Before the concert, we are notified by the service (in several languages) that we can not use telephones or cameras. The concert can not be recorded. For breaking the rules you can stay out of the caves expelled. The concert lasts about 10 minutes. This is a great show. Both musical and light. After the concert, we can go on foot to the exit or wait in the queue for boats. I heartily recommend you choose a boat! It’s true that you only have a piece, but it’s a great experience.

Do I recommend Cuevas del Drach Caves?

Definitely yes. The price is adequate to what you get. This is a place that definitely should be included during your stay in Majorca. Especially if the weather is not good, because there are 20 degrees in the caves. After visiting the caves, it is worth going to the city of Porto Cristo, where the caves are located. The city is attractive because it has a large harbor, and next to the port there are many restaurants and a beautiful beach with a very interesting promenade. I definitely recommend to see!
